CBR: Looking Deeper Into Where I Live

Digging Further in my Own Municipality       Exactly February 22, 2024 when Mrs. Vera Cruz firstly introduce to us the Community-Based Research. I have started doing Research when I was grade 9, and that was almost 2 years ago. But with that years, I never thought of doing a Community-Based Research. Though it it not a formal research, I am still beyond happy and grateful that I get to experience how is it doing a Research study involving the community where I live. How is Life  Going so Far?      Here we go again. I found myself here again typing about how was my journey. The time flies very fast this time. Its just almost two months when I was writing how was my 2nd Quarter life is. Little by little, just a little bit more, I will now finish this whole school year. However, prior to that, let me share how my 3rd quarter went and what I have discovered in this short journey of mine.      In this quarter, I have again gained a lot of knowledge. I also experienced a lot of activities in which I was delighted to do and join. Firstly, what are the learnings that I have gained? When it comes to ICT, I can still vividly remember the joy I felt whenever I am successfully accomplishing those HTML's. In accomplishing those, I may have encounter some malfunctions but no one can match the feeling of relief I felt when it is solved. An Imprint of Excellence "Bear the banner, of glory and honor, for our beloved Alma Matter". As March 9 comes, my dearest junior high school Alma Matter is very alive. Finally, after how many years, the very real celebration that  everyone is looking forward to happened. Every corner as well as every streets that surrounds it is indeed full of crowd wearing their smiles with their thunderous claps and cheers. Forged from the fiery passion, Ilocos Sur National High School finally celebrated its 122nd Foundation Day. It is astounding to finally see how ISNHS really celebrates the high school day. The first activity during high school day is the joyful foot parade. There is an award for the most discipline section per grade level which will be receiving a cash prize that makes it more exciting. Changed Legacy      WOMEN. It is only one word with five letters but experienced worst in the society. Centuries time ago, women plays a different role in the society. When we say women, they should stay at home; they should be dominated by men. But as years passed by, our society improved. The questions is, does the status of women also followed in improvement?      Looking back, women before was prohibited in learning. Given as example ifs Leona Florentino of Vigan City. She did not have the chance to study in proper school. She did learn the things that needed to be known and learned at home. Amidst of that, she became a greatest poetess. Her works have gone international.
